The initial inspiration for a center focused on older adults came from The Crossroads Group, made up of several community and government organizations in the Williamsburg area. The Crossroads Group sought out other like-minded organizations and, together, these groups founded the Center for Excellence in Aging and Lifelong Health. All of these founding organizations are represented through CEALH’s Honorary Board of Directors. To learn more about CEALH’s partners, please click here.
CEALH became incorporated in 2002. Today, CEALH is a non-profit organization funded by a coalition of health care, educational, and civic groups. Our research and community involvement continue to grow each year, and, as a result, more and more aging adults are discovering renewed health and an improved quality of life. |
